About Umphrey's McGee
Formed at the University of Notre Dame in 1997, Umphrey’s McGee combines progressive rock, hard rock, metal, funk, electronic textures, and open-ended improvisation. The band is a sextet built around two guitarists and vocalists, keyboards, bass, drums, and percussion, with a sound that translates readily to rock clubs, theaters, and late-night festival sets.
