About Polyrhythmics
Polyrhythmics is a Seattle instrumental ensemble, active since around 2010, whose sound combines deep funk, soul, Afrobeat, jazz, and psychedelic grooves. Usually an eight-piece group, it layers drums and percussion with bass, guitar, keyboards, and a horn section for dance-focused club, theater, and outdoor festival sets.
