About Leftover Salmon
Leftover Salmon emerged from Colorado’s late-1980s roots-music scene with its self-described “polyethnic Cajun slamgrass” blend of bluegrass, Cajun, folk, rock, and country. The long-running ensemble is typically a six-piece, built around guitars, banjo, mandolin, bass, fiddle, drums, and vocals, and is especially at home at roots and jam festivals as well as theaters and dance-friendly clubs.
