About Joe Russo's Almost Dead
Founded in 2013, Joe Russo's Almost Dead is a five-piece band devoted to adventurous reinterpretations of Grateful Dead material rather than note-for-note tribute performance. Drums, two guitars, bass, keyboards, and shared vocals give the group a dense, improvisation-led sound designed for large clubs, theaters, outdoor stages, and jam-band festivals.
