About Hot Tuna
Founded in the late 1960s by Jefferson Airplane members Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady, Hot Tuna plays acoustic and electric blues, folk, country-blues, and roots rock. At its core, the act is the guitar-and-vocal partnership of Kaukonen and Casady on bass, presented either as an intimate acoustic duo or with a fuller band for theaters, blues rooms, festivals, and amplified rock sets.
