About Greensky Bluegrass
Formed in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in 2000, Greensky Bluegrass is a progressive acoustic string band that brings bluegrass instrumentation into rock-scale songwriting and improvisation. The longstanding five-piece centers on guitar, mandolin, dobro, banjo, and upright bass, with shared vocals, and is equally at home in listening rooms, theaters, and large bluegrass or jam-oriented festivals.
