About Billy Strings
Billy Strings is the stage name of guitarist and singer William Apostol, whose bluegrass roots open into folk, rock, psychedelic improvisation, and expansive acoustic string-band music. His touring ensemble is typically a five-piece built around guitar and vocals with banjo, mandolin, upright bass, and fiddle, and the music works equally well in listening rooms, theaters, arenas, and outdoor festivals.
